Qianyao (Yolanda) Pan

Born in Ruian, Zhejiang, China, Pan spent her first 18 years in Ruian, finishing her pre-college education. She went to elementary school Guangchang XiaoXue, Ruian from 1998 to 2003, and middle school Anyang Zhong Xue from 2003 to 2006. She finished high school Ruian Zhongxue in 2009 and was admitted to Renmin University of China from 2009 to 2013, in major of Sociology and Public Management and minor in Public Finance. During her college years, she joined the exchange program from Renmin University to UC Davis in the year of 2012. She started the graduate program in UC Davis in 2013 as a masters student and was transferred to the PhD program in May 2014. Pan passed the preliminary exam in July 2015, and finished field courses in June 2016. Her expected graduation date is June 2018.
