Tristan Hanon is a Masters student in the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics. He received his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics from Washington State University, where he completed a thesis analyzing the effect of the Renewable Fuel Standard on corn and food prices. Upon graduating, Hanon accepted a position as a research assistant at the Congressional Budget Office in Washington DC. There he assisted in projects analyzing environmental, natural resource, and energy policy issues. Hanon’s research interests include agricultural policy and food security issues.
